Yaoi means: Yaoi can be described as a short version of “Yama, Ochi, Imi, nashi”, which is an abbreviation for the phrase “Yama, Ochi, nashi,” and it means “No plot. No point. No meaning.” This is the definition of the term. However, it is often used loosely in the United States as a synonym for something else. Although the actual meaning of the term should be identical to a porn without plot or PWP, it is not always. Many fangirlboys will refer to it this way: PWP is pure sex. Yaoi: There is a plot involved but there are 18+ contents. Shonenai: Plot, only PG-13 content. Doujinshi fanfics are the most important terms to understand the BL or boy’s passion. Shota pedophilia is another term. Tanbi, which was not used but set the foundation for BL, can also be helpful. To those who will read this long, June may say it is a yaoi Manga, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it. It will be rated on the back to determine whether it is a yaoi manga or not.
