- SNEED: The Sneed computer program was developed by Mike Drake, his Boy’s World Team and sometimes called Drake’s Action Rangers 2000 and 2001. Sneed, the original program was designed to analyze merchandise inventory in one store. It then determined how many product the store required based on sales data. Then it calculated how much the store would get after adding that amount to their case packs. The Sneed was also used to calculate the sales of winter holidays. Although the name “Sneed”, as it appears, means “store need”, Drake often revealed that the term was actually an allusion to Dr Suess’ book The Lorax.
