Slaggart means: An individual who attempts to make themselves better, by making others look bad and making other people feel inferior. They are often not contributing any useful or worthwhile things. This is a mixture of the British English slang term “slag off”, which means to insult or disparage someone, and braggart that refers to a boastful person. In some academic environments, slaggarts can be unusually frequent. This could be due to immaturity among students or staff. (in Community Dictionary, added by Kiera Montgomery)
