No-Joke Joke means: 1. A statement, question, or phrase that appears funny but in reality is not. A non-entendre is also known. It is usually a simple reference or non-sequitur. If the audience is hipsters, it will be followed by either the phrase “get It” or immediate, loud laughter. To pretend they understand jokes, hipsters laugh at them. 2 An analogous joke to 1, but intended to frustrate or confuse the audience rather than please them.
