jock cup means in slang: Protects the ***** and testicles from injury by covering them with hard plastic or metal. This is usually worn with a cup-holding jock strap. The traditional cup was flat and didn’t have much bulge. They were frequently considered very uncomfortable. Newer, “banana-style” cups have a curved shape to better fit male anatomy and taper as they go below the balls. To make the bulge appear larger, it is also slightly more prominent. Although some people don’t love the banana cup style, many find them to be much more comfortable and convenient than traditional cups.
