Gintama means: 1 Manga by Sorachi Hiteaki. This manga is set in the past of Edo (Japan), where aliens have invaded and caused a leap in technology that was staggeringly 3000-4000 years. This book tells the tale of Gintoki Shinpachi and Kagura, with some side stories. This is a whimsical tale where irony is the main theme. It is an interesting change to the usual “romantic”, “over-actionious,” pace of other manga. The author also makes a number of funny and interesting omakes. The Yanime Group is currently scanning it. 2 Translations to “Silver Soul”, but can also be misunderstood for “Silver Balls”. (in Community Dictionary, added by Caitlyn Holt)
