Feathery Stroker means: One man who is too attached to a girl’s romantic idea. Because he is too scared to crush her, he looks at her as a delicate flower. He also writes many poems and serenades about his lady. This is a romantic way for many girls to feel, but the majority of women who have some sense find it annoying and sappy. Marian Keys’ novel “Anybody Out there” is where Marian Keys uses the expression “Feathery Straker”. One of her friends told her about a man who instead of pulling her clothes off, laid there and stroked her as though he were stroking feathers. It was a terrible day for her friend, however.
