Diabetes Proliferation Day means: Halloween Diabetes Proliferation day DPD, also known as Halloween Candy Binge Day (HDP), is the main catalyst for a week-long candy binge. It is primarily enjoyed by children. Parents, teachers, and neighbors encourage it. Teachers even bribe their children with candy at this time. The day includes dressing up as a costume but it isn’t as important as the fact children will consume sufficient sugar to last them for several days.
