Adness means: Advertising that causes a negative response from those it is trying to convince can be called Adness. Advertising is characterized by a broken social contract between consumers and advertisers. Adness can be defined as advertisements which violate the social contract, such as blocking content or invading private spaces. Carton Donofrio Partners invented the term in 2010.
